Whistleblowing, for me, has always been a struggling topic. In our technology filled world, misinformation is extremely common and never know what to trust. Someone could being whistleblowing over something that is an issue happening and people wouldn’t know if its something that is actually happening or is being made up by the whistleblower to manipulate the masses. I think its somewhat important that the whistle is blown sometimes but in the correct context or way and not to comprise a countries national security in the process.
