Introduction to Technical & Scientific Writing
This course emphasizes critical reading, thinking, and writing as they apply to the technical and scientific disciplines. Students are introduced to principles of analysis and argumentation and taught the requisite skills that will allow them properly to paraphrase, summarize, and synthesize research as it applies to and is most commonly found in the technical and scientific communities. The course culminates in the preparation of a fully-documented research paper.
