Back Story

I was born into a military family in San Antonio, Texas where I spent 5 years of my life. My family and I then moved to Mililani, Hawaii (on the island of Oahu), for the start of elementary school where I spent 6 years. I finally moved to Marriottsville, Maryland for the start of middle school. My parents have retired and now I permanently reside in Maryland.

Hobbies/Interests

While in Hawaii, I learned to surf to where I was able to turn on my own without the help of an instructor. Off of surfing, I got interested in snowboarding and longboarding. they have similar movements in the hips but on different surfaces. In middle school, I picked up a martial art called Jiu-Jitsu. Similar to UFC but without the punching and kicking. In high school, I fell in love with wrestling and I went to Penn State University’s wrestling camp and got to wrestle with world-class wrestlers. In fact, Kyle Snyder, Olympic gold medalist for wrestling, grew up down the road from my house in Maryland. During my college experience, I began to get into Olympic weightlifting, the clean and jerk, and the snatch movements. The food aspect of working out got me to also love cooking food. I would see a recipe online and experiment with something similar to that recipe.
