Watch this video and write a paragraph about how Ann’s behavior is related to the need for cybersecurity.  In addition, pay attention to the way that technological changes increased cybersecurity risks.  By watching the video, you will see that cybersecurity requires an interaction between human behavior and technology. 

Anne’s behavior shows the pressing need for cybersecurity in todays’ world. She, like many others, fell victim to different types of cyber attacks that could have easily been prevented with the implementation of different cybersecurity techniques. Additionally, if she was taught proper online safety techniques, she could have avoided many of these issues from the start. With all the new advancements and products in the modern world it is hard to keep up with all the new things that one should be looking out for, but with the proper addition of cybersecurity techniques and teaching people how to conduct themselves in a safer way online, many of these hazards can be avoided.

In terms of areas that appeal to me and my career going forward, the “Operate and Maintain” area is the highest on the list. Being able to overview the daily proceedings and making sure the processes that are already in place are running smoothly is something I have always been interested in. Not having to create a fully new program myself but learn how one works and how to use it and keep it running throughout its stay in a company is something I can see myself doing in the future. When it comes to least appeal I would have to say “Oversee and Govern” at the top of the list. I have had opportunities in the past to lead groups of people, but it is not something I can see myself doing for a long period of time, especially in a job where a leader has to have an incredible amount of knowledge about what is going on everywhere.
