Reflection 4

Reflection 4

So this week of the internship we are back in the classroom with the instructor. I decided to stay home this week and learn from home. The instructor talked about load balancers and how they are used. A load balancer serves as the single point of contact for clients. The load balancer distributes incoming application traffic across multiple targets, such as EC2 instances, in multiple Availability Zones. This increases the availability of your application. You add one or more listeners to your load balancer. Also we learned about RDS(Relational Database Service). RDS is a collection of managed services that makes it simple to set up, operate, and scale databases in the cloud. We also learned about auto scaling, monitors your applications and automatically adjusts capacity to maintain steady, predictable performance at the lowest possible cost. Using AWS Auto Scaling, it’s easy to set up application scaling for multiple resources across multiple services in minutes. Honestly this week has been just like any other classroom week. I really do not like when we sit in the call all day from 11-7, yeah we learned a lot of information but i like more hands on stuff and felt like that class was not giving that. But on the bright side we did top golf in the middle of the week as a work invent.
