Exploring Culture
A lot about culture in my Spanish class. I learned that a Paella is A common dish in Spain. Also when I did Talk-Abroad I figured out that one of the people I was talking to likes to eat fast food like me.
Engaging in Communities
Talking to one of the girls I met on talk-abroad they didn’t like to play sports but their sister liked to play soccer.
Interpersonal Communication
Talk-abroad really helped during this class I think talking to people my own age and having them be so nice made me want to learn more Spanish. I know sometimes I broke off in spoken English they couldn’t understand me but they were still pretty good at catching what I was trying to say. It’s safe to say that those people are qualified and people in college should use talk-abroad.
Presentational Speaking
One of my projects was to make a meal and go through the steps of how I made the meal. I chose to make a chicken burrito and I want to sat my pictures and my speaking was very good.
Presentational Writing
I definitely think my writing has improved with all of these writing assignments I have done. When I made a flyer for volleyball I think my Spanish writing was very good and when I did a flyer for the flu I really like the pictures I chose.
Interpretive Listening
Do the talk-abroad I think I was very good at listening because they would ask me questions and I would have to respond. The two people I worked with her and talk brought spoke very clearly swear I could understand what they were talking about in a broad sense.
Interpretive Reading
I think my reading has improved this semester because I find it hard for my writing to improve in my reading not to improve. I think I can quickly understand what I’m reading now because I see so many words I already know.
