“I had to get over my nervousness and anticipation of program and gain confidence in myself to trust my own capabilities. Thorough review and preparation of the materials helped tremendously with ensuring that I can know all that I need to know to effectively teach and answer any questions I may encounter. Trust in the system, process and people made it possible for me to overcome that initial nerve prior to the starting of the event.”

“GenCyber Program is an excellent introduction and important steppingstone in my future career in the cybersecurity field. The program has helped me build confidence and some insight of how teamwork is a significant aspect of the field, and that spreading awareness to this new trade is deed most worthy of doing. GenCyber will remain as my motivation to pursue harder and further in my career because of the inspiration that all staff, participants, and guess speakers shared in those two weeks. This experience will serve as my opening to my future path in cybersecurity, for now I have gained my first experience to gain much more in the future.”
