After watching the ted talk video I think the speakers path into digital forensics was very interesting. I found this interesting because he explains that with digital forensics you either “fell into it or got put into it”. He explained that this was case due to the fact that there were no courses or classes on the subject at the time as it was a basically new thing. It is weird to think about a time where something as common as digital forensics was once a completely new and uncharted subject. I also like the randomness that the speaker describes with falling into digital forensics almost as if you just end up in that path and next thing you know you have a career in something you didn’t even know was a career. I know it was like this for a lot of IT jobs in the late 90s and early 2000s as these jobs were so new and there was not any courses for these new jobs so opportunity randomly fell into peoples laps.
