For the first human-centered cyber security meme I chose the photo of the dog on the iPad and captioned it “Me using my birthday and last name in my work password thinking its safe” I picked this caption as the dog looks innocent and oblivious to any dangers and would choose a simple password. This is also one of the biggest security risks in companies as employees tend to pick simple and easy to get passwords putting accounts attached to the company at risk.

For the next meme I chose the guy sitting at a coffee shop with his computer and captioned it “Ill just manage these sensitive work documents on this unsecured coffee shop network, what could go wrong?” and I chose this sarcastic caption as obviously it is not smart as an employee to be connected to an unsecure network when handling sensitive company documents and information. This is another example of how human-centered cyber security can directly cause issues as employees can put information in risky places such as unsecure public networks that anyone can access and then access your device through.

For the last meme I chose the picture of a lady on her phone with an excited expression and captioned it ” My company is offering me a free computer and all I have to do is sign into my company account, its my lucky day!” I went with this caption as its an example of a phishing email baiting the woman into giving up her company account information with the illusion of getting a new computer through her company. This example is a very common attempt made on people everyday as a lot of people fall for phishing attacks and don’t look closely at urls and where the email has come from.

My company is offering me a free computer and all I have to do is sign into my company account, its my lucky day!
