{"id":277,"date":"2021-12-09T06:40:07","date_gmt":"2021-12-09T06:40:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.wp.odu.edu\/jzvbcourse1234\/?p=277"},"modified":"2021-12-09T06:40:07","modified_gmt":"2021-12-09T06:40:07","slug":"journal-entry-free-write-11-11","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.wp.odu.edu\/jzvbcourse1234\/2021\/12\/09\/journal-entry-free-write-11-11\/","title":{"rendered":"Journal Entry Free Write 11\/11"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>There are many violations that you can break while roaming the internet and it is easy to get caught up in without even knowing.&nbsp;There are eleven different things that most people do that they do not even know&nbsp;are&nbsp;illegal because it is not talked about enough.&nbsp;5\/11 of the most serious offenses that you may be doing or are the ones to avoid the most are using unofficial streaming services, sharing passwords; addresses; or photos of others, illegal searches on the internet, collecting information about people that are younger than 13,&nbsp;and faking your identity online.&nbsp;Now most people know that these are illegal but still choose to do them knowing that there are major risks that you can get when it is easily avoidable just by not doing them. There are acts and laws that protect individuals from most of these things but that is still&nbsp;not enough. These are the most serious things that internet users can do that are illegal because these are violations that are&nbsp;taught everywhere so there is no reason that a certain person is still committing these crimes, but by doing so we collect research in understanding why certain people choose to do the things they do.&nbsp;These offenses can seriously affect an individual, family, or business by leaking people&#8217;s personal information on the internet,&nbsp;causing a business to lose profit, and even put people in danger.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The electronics communication policy is described&nbsp;as the use of&nbsp;university&nbsp;electronic messaging systems and the resulting&nbsp;responsibilities of faculty, staff, and students according to&nbsp;ODU (OLD DOMINION UNIVERSITY).&nbsp;After reading the entire page, I can conclude that it relates to cybersecurity.&nbsp;After putting two and two&nbsp;together, the school wants to make sure that everyone is using their account in a frequent manner so that everything is very secure. I know that having a lot of people using their schools account may cause more cyber-attacks,&nbsp;but it&nbsp;leads&nbsp;to more protection.
