Entry #4

There are many risks when it comes to cyber security.  The whole world pretty much revolves around technology and with the ever growing economies of the world more and more information goes on to cloud servers.  Passwords and personal information is almost all stored in these servers.  Password theft is a pretty common risk when it comes to cyber security.  Passwords are the first lines of defense when it comes to everything.  You have a password for almost everything: your phone, your email, any work desktop, anything.  When someone gets your password they pretty much have access to anything that comes with that password.   With that 1 password they can easily get into any document or personal information you have.  There is also risk of malware and viruses.  Malware is unwanted bugs that can delete your files and gain access to all different types of information.  Really though, the United States and Asia have the same type of cyber security problems.  It is all stemming from the same malware or virus attacks and the fact that the privacy lines are being blurred between everything.  With information being leaked as I have said in my past discussion boards and eportfolios people do not care about personal information unless it comes to them.  To me the whole world commonly has the same exact problems when it comes to cyber security.  No matter how far along technology comes along, they will never fully understand what they build.  It is like poking a bear with a stick.  You think you know what you are doing but in reality, you have no idea what you are unleashing to the world.  There are plenty risks when it comes to cyber security and pretty much the whole world has the same security problems with their information getting leaked, deleted or used against them.
