What are the costs and benefits of developing cybersecurity programs in business?  The costs of developing different cybersecurity programs can be quite expensive.  However, the benefits can far outweigh the costs.  Depending on how much a business is willing to spend on a cybersecurity program can also tell a business how well it will do in the long run.  A cybersecurity program can protect almost every asset to a business.  It can keep its files under wraps for almost everything.   The bigger the business the better their cybersecurity program should be.  The best businesses are a target for most hackers.  Businesses have so much confidential information stored on their cloud servers and if someone were to get a hold of that that could sabotage that business.  But being that it is a big business, they have contingencies for these kinds of problems.  A small business has everything to lose though.  Smaller businesses typically have a lot less money they can spend on a top of the line cybersecurity program.  When a big business has a problem with a hacker or hacker group they can most likely fend it off with their extensive cyber security program.  A small business; however, will suffer just because they do not have the funds to keep an extensive top of the line cybersecurity program up and running.  So, typically, they are much more vulnerable and in the most need of a good program.  Especially if they are a growing company.  The more they grow though, the more money they will have coming in.  Pretty much the big benefits to a good cybersecurity program is to protect all your data and assets from any type of hacker.  A business will always need a cybersecurity program just because of cases where people with malicious intent will try and use your data and possibly steal it for themselves.
