Reflection
My time in CyberOps was just a series of thrills back-to-back. The most memorable was when, into this one pretty hard-to-figure-out question for Capture the Flag, there was just encryption all over and loads of security layers inside; it was really a true challenge for problem-solving and people’s communication. At first, I thought that it would be smooth sailing and that the tasks would be done with little effort. In real life, however, it proved to be much more intense, entailing late-night vigils, brainstorming as groups, and just about a whole lot of trial and error.
That unexpected depth pushed me to expand my knowledge and create critical thinking under pressure. I learned that it’s okay to hold on a little and ask for help when you cannot get something through your head. Ultimately, the experience not only whetted my technical skills but also fostered a sense of fellowship among my peers. A perfect blend of challenge and growth, CyberOps has left me inspired to tackle whatever challenges come next in the world of cybersecurity.
