As the CISO for a publicly traded company, the availability of our systems is critical and the most important thing in maintaining the confidence of our customers and investors. There are a few things I would implement to ensure availability;

1. Disaster recovery: if there is a big outage or disaster, we should always have a plan

2. monitoring and alerting: This can help identify and detect issues before they become bigger

3. Access controls: This ensures that only authorized users can access our systems. This can prevent attacks

4. Regular maintenance: This includes software updates, hardware maintenance, and anything that can make sure we are fine.
