The major I am pursuing is Nursing. I am pursuing a nursing career because I believe that I can help people. Not everyone has the heart and the soul to be a nurse and do all the hard work, but I am. I have quite the experience in the nursing field. In high school, I was in a health professions magnet so, in my junior year, I was able to intern at the University of Maryland Medical Center. I was able to shadow nurses in different units and help with vitals, bed baths, temperatures, patient transportation and so much more. I also received my CNA the summer going into my senior year. I was hoping that I will get to use it while I have the chance. It will really help me in the future going into nursing.
