Society has become so dependent upon technology that it is hard to imagine a world without it. Technology has changed almost every aspect of our lives. People are constantly on their phones, there is less communication between families, kids are not going outside playing like they’re supposed to, there are computers in almost every device in our homes, and technology is even used at school and work. Technology has grown at an exponential rate. Technology is becoming more advanced by the day and is one of the main sources of communication that people use in their daily lives. New ideas and inventions are being introduced every single day. Due to this rapid growth, it is hard for society and the government to keep up with the updates. The importance of having an updated and stable technology foundation is extremely important since there are many businesses and corporations that depend on technology. Due to the lack of knowledge with the new innovations of technology, cybercrimes are being made every day and people tend to get away with it. For example, new cybercrimes are being committed and the legislative system cannot keep up which is evident in the lack of cyber laws. The problem is that the society and even criminal justice workers do not know what these new technologies are fully capable of since new ones are being made constantly. For examples, a lot of wars happened through technology. The United States use technology such as satellites to drop bombs and other major attacks that played a major role to the world. There needs to be a stable foundation and technological environment in order to develop a strong cyber-policy and infrastructure. Software’s and databases must be up to date and running smoothly. Having an old software can slowdown many development processes and the growth of computer industry. Developing a strong cyber policy and infrastructure can help expand and inspire growth in technology advancements and many industries
