After reading through the NICE Framework, the specialty area that I would like to focus my career on would be Threat Analysis. As said in the framework, threat analysis is defines as “Identifies and assesses the capabilities and activities of cybersecurity criminals or foreign intelligence entities; produces findings to help initialize or support law enforcement and counterintelligence investigations or activities.” This area of work interest me, to be able to identify different levels of threats and to approach cybersecurity more intellectually. I also see it as a challenge. Some of the skills needed are to be able to identify critical target elements.
