About Me

As a young child I was always interested in the “why” of the world and I would attempt to understand it through art. I have always loved psychology and art; hence, art therapy has been a prime choice in career since its introduction into the medical society. In order to reach this career goal, I am double majoring in Studio Art and Psychology for my bachelor’s degree, and then I plan to get a master’s degree in Art Therapy. My academic goals for this course are to obtain more knowledge are the inner workings of social psychology and increase my ability to write psychology-based papers to better prepare for my future in psychology. Psychology has always had a special interest to me, as I yearn to understand how and why people act the way they do in alternating types of social interactions, which I hope to gain further understanding from this course. Overall, I hope my love of psychology and art will continue to blossom hand-in-hand as I continue on my adventure throughout college.
