I think using Creative Commons photos would be a great way to tie technology into the library. The younger students could benefit from watching the librarian alter photos in unique ways and those students can work together to decide how the photo is changed. With the older (elementary) students, this could be a small group activity where they not only have a chance to “play around” with the photos, but at the same time they can learn how to give credit to the original owner / creator. This is my first time working with and editing Creative Commons photos and I am amazed by all that is available at no charge and how many photos are accessible to be redistributed. Amazing and fun!
