With the level of intelligence science and society have acquired regarding computer technology, emergency responders are able to utilize advanced communication to retrieve data more efficiently, and the use of data analysis gives them efficient tracking in real-time to help critical emergency scenarios. A great example of this use would be GPS tracking, current traffic data, and automatic dispatch procedures to arrive at the scene of an event more quicker.
The second way that computers have made the world safer is by advancing the abilities of security systems. With the upgrades to modern technology, security monitoring systems can be utilized in public spaces more than before. This can help law enforcement watch over citizens and detect suspicious behavior. The advance in security systems can also prevent detrimental crimes and attacks, while also providing the ability to identify and arrest the suspects.
The last way that computers have made the world safer is by improving efficiency and functionality within the healthcare system. Modern technology has transformed the healthcare industry by supplying advanced diagnostic instruments and machinery, providing the ability to digitize health records and other information, as well as providing telehealth services.
