Review the articles linked with each individual motive in the presentation page or Slide #3.  Rank the motives from 1 to 7 as the motives that you think make the most sense (being 1) to the least sense (being 7).  Explain why you rank each motive the way you rank it.

1. For Money: This makes the most sense to me because there is a large gain behind this motive, especially when attacking major systems that hold valuable information
2. Political: This is ranked second due to the understanding that people that are highly important in politics can be targets or aggressors when it comes to cybercrimes.
3. Revenge: This is ranked third due to the understanding that there are employees, for example, who would get back at a job who fired them by attacking them digitally.
4. Recognition: This is ranked fourth because some people want to showcase their skills, and they feel as though this is the only way to get recognized for it.
5. Multiple Reasons: This is understandable in the sense of wanting money and revenge, but it’s a lot to have multiple motives.
6. Entertainment: This is ranked second to last because it is almost just as bad as hacking/attacking someone out of boredom.
7. Boredom: This is ranked last because it made the least sense to me to hack/attack someone digitally out of boredom.
