I know that I enjoy the overall aspect of investigating cyber crimes and, potentially, the idea of doing penetration testing, as stepping into the shoes of a hacker and seeing their process of using system vulnerabilities to their advantage is exciting, and I also enjoy the thought of having my own cybersecurity consultant company. After reviewing NICE Workforce Framework, I was able to have a better understanding of what areas of focus were available for me to choose from after I complete my degree in Cybersecurity. With a combination of what I previously mentioned along with being able to oversee the operations of a system, I believe I would like to focus on system administration, vulnerability assessment and management, or executive cyber leadership. While each of these specialty areas has their individual significance, I believe that utilizing the characteristics of each area will aid me greatly in creating my own IT company.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>With full transparency, I did not, and do not, in a sense, know what I want to do in my career within the IT field.
