Interdisciplinary Theory and Concepts introduced me to the foundations of interdisciplinary thinking and helped me understand how different academic disciplines work together to solve complex problems. In this writing-intensive course, I learned how to analyze issues from multiple perspectives, integrate research across fields, and communicate my ideas clearly through structured academic writing. IDS 300W strengthened my critical thinking, writing, and problem-solving skills while preparing me for the advanced interdisciplinary work required in IDS 493 and my cybersecurity studies.
