With the advancement of technology over the past few years, companies have effectively created innovative systems to convert work into technological based systems. Unfortunately, with these systems comes more ways for employees to engage in acts of workplace deviance. With movement unto technology-based systems, employees can discreetly surf the internet and deviate from their normal workload without notice. Technological based systems can also allow for employees to anonymously harass other coworkers and even superiors behind fake aliases. Employees may also have means to download malicious software or other systems to harm the workplace systems. Identification from unknowing coworkers may also be used maliciously to access unauthorized data.
