Organizations can benefit greatly from this framework, due to its organizational structure and innovative design. Separating cybersecurity threats into tiers makes for a more effective way of deciphering threat levels and provides for a more structured way of handling the respective threat levels. The tier system implemented to assess and properly communicate issues included in the framework also makes for a well-organized and thought-out program. By dividing problems into tiers, and having those respective tiers get assessed by their respective hierarchy within the organization, this allows for threats to be handled accordingly and in timely manner. Lesser threats being solved by lower tiers allows for less stress on the senior level. In addition, lower levels gain more experience with handling lower-level threats and are able to better assess and provide updated defenses against such threats. The self-assessment feature also allows for more organization, and a more efficient way to assess risks, costs, effects, and provide more effective preventative measures. Overall, companies would greatly benefit from this contemporary piece of framework.
I would use this framework at my future workplace to further implement cybersecurity techniques. By implementing the tier and hierarchy practices, the workplace is able to efficiently assess and use combative techniques against security threats. Lower tiered departments within the hierarchy are able to effectively evaluate threats without harassing senior levels with petty problems. In addition, this framework will allow the workplace to better organize and interpret threats faster than previous bouts. This framework will allow for a smoother flow within the workplace and provide better tactics for preventative measures in cybersecurity threats.
