One of the biggest benefits that an organization can gain from the NIST Cybersecurity Framework is keeping that organization safe from security threats and fraud. Organizations are at so much greater of a risk in this day in age due to several reasons, but one of the biggest reason is the presence of social media today. Social media gives criminals such an upper hand when it comes to commiting these crimes. So much personal information is held on social media these days which makes people and organizations at higher risk than ever before. Using this framework, organizations can also be guarded against insider threats as well. An insider threat is where an employee of a particular organization accesses information in way that can cause damage to that particular organization due to the fact that they have inside knowlege about the business and can use it against said organization. I would use this information at a future workplace to prevent all these certain threats from happening. It is very important to be on guard at all times even with people within your organization and it is so important to make sure that proper protocols are being followed so that certain information can stay confidential when needed and people who are authorized to see it can access it when needed.
