I am a busy mom to three energetic boys and currently enrolled in Old Dominion University. People always ask how I do it. It’s not easy but hard work and dedication definitely pays off. My motto is, if you want it bad enough, you’ll achieve it. I am a veteran of the United States Navy. I worked in logistics and experienced people from all over the world who came from all different walks of life. My desire to learn a different language such as Spanish particularly, grew much stronger during and after my time in the Navy. As I change my career path to fulfill my first passion of becoming a nurse, I made a promise to myself and my husband that I will learn the Spanish language. We both want to teach our three children the language as well, especially while they are young and have the time to learn a few more along the way. I will love to showcase my progress from when I started to where I am currently. I’ve always had a passion for helping others and hate to see people hurt or in a uncomfortable situation. I believe that learning another prominent language especially while working in the medical field, will change lives and make a better environment.
