Cybersecurity impact on small business

Developing cyber security programs is important in small businesses because they are more of a target to cyberattacks than bigger businesses because of their resources. Small businesses have to be able to understand and manage their risks within the business, such as the business vulnerabilities and threats and how much damage would occur if an unpleasant attack were to occur. The small business would have to try to examine the elements of the risks and the vulnerabilities that come with each attack and risk. Then after examining the risks you have to manage the risks when they occur every small business should update and alter their risk management plan to make sure the proper steps are put in place to ensure protection. Then develop inventory to keep track of expenses such as a table to lay all the information out, the table probably will be saved on a computer which should include important data about the information about the business. Having a small business the skill of organization and resources is important to the success of the business. Small businesses already have the odds against them when it comes to being successful because like stated before, limited resources and money to improve the technology or other resources needed to fight against cyberattacks and damages that can occur. I would definitely have a spending budget each year to make sure the products in the business are being taken care of by the employees and then the extra money put in savings to be able to fund resources and cyber security programs for employees to be taught important skills needed to protect the business.
