How do engineers make cyber networks safer? Week 11
Engineers can make a huge impact in cyber networks that can be safer and beneficial for a company. Engineers help with creating cyber networks and researchers to improve the networks for their best performance, and cyber networks can also be updated and tweaked to make it the best version for the user to have the best maintenance of safety. Evolving and creating new cyber networks is always great for keeping the hackers out of the system and creating a harder time so no unauthorized information or sensitive information is gained and accessed in the wrong hands. Engineers are taught different techniques and important training in school when earning their degrees which prepares them for the real world and workplace circumstances which lead to them being able to help others with safer cyber networks. Engineers test and screen the security systems to make sure they are monitoring any activity that is being conducted, so if there is malicious activity such as security instructions and breaches it can be addressed and handled appropriately.
While they monitor and know how to pinpoint and see a threat when it is presented and occurring they also know how to be prepared for different situations and take action by making a plan so a plan is already set before the attack or threat even takes place. Engineering is the backbone and the heart of cybersecurity, especially cyber networks because it helps and stops devastating events from happening when it occurs and before it occurs. While we live in a world of cybercrime being on the rise because of technology being such an important option and convenient tool in our everyday lives, leaving a huge amount of companies and personas vulnerable and easy to be a victim to cyber attacks and other devastating events that can occur.
