Inspiration- Ms. Kay’s inspiration was the fact that she didn’t like to see people struggle therefore she wanted to make a change by helping

Path to current job-attended UNC where she got her RN to BSN and her MSN degree. After Ms. Kay got her RN to BSN degrees, she decided to further her education at her dream school, George Mason University to get her PHD

Rewarding- Ms. Kay Loves kids so the thing that was rewarding to her healing kids

Most Surprising Aspect-  The most surprising thing for Ms. Kay while working in Sentara was how many kids were unknowingly sick

Challenging Aspect-  The most challenging was Ms. Kay having to see them suffer and be in pain

Special Advice- One piece of advice I learned from Ms. Kay was that she told me to never give up my hopes and dreams and that anything worth having will not come easy!
