After reviewing the NICE Workforce Framework and taking a look at the Work Role
Categories and reading their brief descriptions of the repective work roles in each category, there
is some areas that I would like to focus more on in my career on. One of the first areas that
appeals to me is the category “Oversigh and Governance” and the work role that appealed to me
the most was “Cybersecurity Instruction”, and that is because I believe that people should be able
to protect all their own systems wheather or not it is for their own personal systems or for work.
This also builds off of my experince of taking certain thing I’ve learned in my academic journey
in cybersecurity. The other category that appealed to me was“Protection and Defense” and most
of the work roles in there are more in line with what I’d like to pursue more in my career. In
terms of what categorys did not appeal to me would be “Design and Development” and
Implementaion and Operation”. The reasons they do no internest me as much is due to the
majority of work roles that are tied to the categories are built off of parts that I am not personally
interetested in.
