Journal Entry 11

The description of a cybersecurity analyst job relates to social behaviors in how and what type of work is done, with the work that can be most of the time always having fall back to having to work with people and having to help others as well. From dealing with others, to having people help you an analyst is always working. With that the job does require what seems like moderate to advanced technical and social skills for the job to be done thoroughly. To build on that most cyberteams don’t operate as a “team” but more a just cluster of people in a group without actual proper communication being done to accomplish the goal set. As well this ties into what could be deemed the civic duty of the worker since people who are not in the field or deal with the work, will more than likely not know in depth what is being done, leaving a big sense of trust in the worker to be doing the right thing or giving their opinion on what is the right thing to do for the company on a technical side. Continued learning is also something that is always in this field, like stated before “analyst are always working” with that comes learning, a analyst could face a problem and get help from a coworker that teaches them something or the worker figures out how to do something new themselves, this also is something that benefits from proper communication and team work being applied in the job.
