How does cyber technology impact interactions between offenders and victims?

How does cyber technology impact interactions between offenders and victims? To explain how Cyber Technology is used and has impacted the interactions between offenders and victims which is why I will be using Cyber Stalking and Cyber Harassment as examples.

For context the first topic, Cyber harassment, uses messages to send threats that implicate or intend harm, traumatize and torment upon the recipient which is pretty much the same thing as traditional harassment only it’s sent from or on an electronic device connected to the internet with a record. The second topic, Cyber Stalking, like cyber harassment, is like traditional stalking cases which is when an individual is in constant pursuit of a person in an obsessive behavior and is always constantly monitor whatever is posted online that has the slightest mention of the person that they pursuit, for some examples of platforms they may look on like Instagram, Facebook most common scenarios such as a crazy admirer, and fans. 

How has Cyber Stalking and Cyber Harassment become more difficult to track and analyze? They both also use the internet as a medium which also makes it difficult for scholars to analyze, predict the cyber-crimes and makes it hard to categorize under legislation. They interact with the victims through contacting a wide variety of different media platforms that mostly are targeted towards college students.

Fortunately, we have access to these technological advancements have helped identify the cyber-crime offenders which then helped establish implicated policies and legal legislation and allows us to see the record of the offense such as the conversations timeline.

In what ways had it become easier as we have developed more with advanced technology?

There had been great strides from having no implications or policies to protect others from cyber stalking and harassment due to lacking the technology to track and keep record of such crimes until now.
