Our professor always emailed us in Spanish which I thought was very helpful for our learning and understanding in this course. Reading was a big part of this course and was challenging but not as challenging as listening was for me. There were several activities we read in VHL which helped with a better understanding of some vocabulary and forms of word. A great resource we have is the Language Learning center. I was able to have access to a lot of Spanish magazines and newspapers. This was one of my favorite things to do because I already love reading and reading magazines so I figured testing my Spanish knowledge would be fun. I tried reading several magazines but my favorite was the Spanish version of Elle magazine which is one of my favorites to read in English. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This was a challenge for me because there were some words and phrases I was uncertain of but context clues and the spanish dictonary helped me a lot. I believe this helped me a lot and I would reccomend reading different articles and even magazines to help with a better understanding of spanish. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
