Top Artifacts

Artifact 5:

My final top artifact that I did over the semester was in Module 7, about attitudes and behaviors. I enjoyed doing this artifact but not as much as the other four. This one also made me think at all times when completing it. I learned that some people’s attitudes can be inconsistent with their behaviors. We often see this a lot, especially in today’s society. I learned that I can improve my consistency with my actions and attitudes to get a better grade on a test. This method will hold me accountable for my actions.

Attitudes and Behavior: I chose this as my visual image because you do not want any inconsistencies with the two. It is always good to have a balance with these two.

Artifact 4:

My fourth favorite artifact that we did this semester was in Module 5, about self-enhancement. I enjoyed completing this artifact because it kept me thinking at all times. I learned many new things throughout the process of this artifact. Although it was a simple task, I learned about how to go about different situations to make myself better. When going to an interview I can use self enhancement and also different enhancements such as resumes and questions. Even in situations when you are meeting your future in-laws, it is always good to present yourself in the best way possible.

Self-enhancement: I chose this as my visual image because it represents something I would do to enhance myself before going on an interview.

Artifact 3:

My third favorite artifact that we did over the semester was in Module 8, about stereotypes. I liked doing this artifact because it made you visualize and think of different ethnic groups. I learned many things by doing this artifact. One thing I learned was another person’s view of adjectives for a specific ethnic group or race. My results of what I characterized with each group compared to what the other person characterized them as were very different. This is okay because everyone has different opinions. I overall enjoyed this assignment.

Artifact 2:

My second favorite artifact that we did this semester was in Module 14, about happiness. I enjoyed this artifact because it was interesting to see where I fell on the happiness scale. I learned that most people score between a 4.5 and a 5.5 on the happiness scale. I also learned college student tend to score lower because of all the stress that homework and test puts on them. The last thing I learned from this artifact was my happiness score. I scored a 5.7, which is pretty high. I try to stay happy even in the bad times of my life.

Happiness: I chose this as my visual image to represent happiness because i love the beach and it makes me happy. Every time I go to the beach I get in a good mood.

Artifact 1:

My favorite artifact that we did this semester was in Module 12, about aggression. I like this the most because it gave many examples of what situations could be considered aggressive. It was very interesting to see all of the situations that could be considered aggressive because at least one of them I did before. After completing this artifact I learned many different things. I first learned what I believe are considered the most aggressive out of the list of 25. I also learned the different sub groups that go with aggression. A few of these sub groups are “duty or job responsibility,” “self defense,” and “accident versus intentional.”
