From Tech to RN , Hear about this young lads journey to the most exciting and fast pace position in the healthcare. The person I interviewed name is Daniel and he is a Registered nurse at Sentara Generals’s Emergency Department . He Currently has an Associates degree in nursing and is going back for his Bachelors. He started at community college and worked his way up unexpectedly to becoming a nurse. He was really recommended by a friend to try nursing and he loved it. He loves the excitement of the the Trama section of the ER , but says it really depends on what part you are in. Management is fantastic and friendly, family aspects make it worth working there. I’ve learned that this is a rewarding job and in order to make it i have to be committed and take new risks.
