Nursing

My intended major is Nursing. I chose Nursing because every day I see homeless people begging for a few pennies on the street so that they can survive. I want to be able to do more than just give them a few pennies.  I want to be able to help people directly. Seeing people suffering from their illness motivates me to be a nurse that will take care of them. I chose Nursing because it is a job where you never finish learning. Seeing nurses visiting my school treating students, immunization, teaching us about health and sexual health issues, these encouraged me. I’m recently volunteering at Chesapeake regional healthcare. I’ve been witnessing different type of patients and how busy it can get in the hospital.
