Growing up I was always a hands-on person. I always loved to play video games and be outside. As I  got older I would play video games all day or just be on some form of technology. When those things would sometimes mess up or stop working I would try and fix them by myself. Really growing up you really don’t know what you want to do until you get older, until highschool.  I always wanted to be a doctor but going  through high school I started to think about other things that would be interesting to do so at first it was Information technology and I thought that would be a unique field to try. My grandma works for the government and she would always come home and say how much the government needs more cyber security workers,  so I started to think more about cybersecurity. I also went on this college tour at JMU and the cybersecurity teacher there also explained to me that the field is growing, as we get older technology is going to grow dramatically so cybersecurity is going to play a big part in that. I am really interested because I am very good with technology now and I would love to learn something that looks very difficult. It is good money in that field. I just want to try something new. I never thought it would be this, I always wanted to be a doctor. I also know that this can challenge me in a lot of ways, many people say this is a difficult field. That won’t stop me at all. I would love to prove a lot of people wrong and go and achieve all my goals that I set. I will succeed in this field even when I run into problems.
