IT, Computer engineering, computer science, and information assurance relates to cyber security a lot both have a lot to do with computers, storage, networking and other physical devices. I feel like they all have the same roles played but in a different way just a little bit. In these majors technology in general is just going to get bigger and bigger. Cyber is more of blocking attacks and protecting saved data but the general roles in cyber like an auditor which they are responsible for examining systems to determine the systems are meeting requirements and organizations policies. Maybe they also share a Quality Assurance staff which they improve products and services they provide to their customers. The quality assurance staff should have a working knowledge of information security and computer-based information, the availability of services and the confidentiality of customers. Some skills that are needed are the same in these fields like analytical skills, critical thinking, problem-solving, and strong communication skills are very big skills in those fields. Also with these careers I feel as if the same classes you would prolly have to take through the years of college. But IT at odu you have to go through the college of business to actually get into the IT field. If it involves computers it relates to cyber security. Basically to tie it all up you need a little bit of knowledge from all fields to even be in one of those fields with the problem solving skills you can see how a hacker is trying to get in a software and also with that skill you can see how a computer system crashed thats with the IT field or computer engineering. I feel as if it could all be one big field but with different courses to take throughout the semester
