How has cyber technology created opportunities for workplace deviance?

Cyber technology created opportunities for deviant behavior in the workplace by making it easier for us to access the mobile technology we use today.

Smartphones – deviance can lead towards the use company cell phones or their own personal phones to leak any sensitive data from recording conversations or photo taking for potential data breaches.

Computers – data can be remotely accessed from today’s upgraded technology. Deviant individuals can have access company files or records.

Social media – deviant behavior with the media we follow and stuff can potentially ruin reputations of people and or companies with bad reviews or disclosing private company information that should be kept private.
