The career, I am looking forward towards as a possibility would be a web caster for gaming. This career sits at the very core of both technology and engagement from the online community. As a web caster, I would be building an with online community through live streams and commentary videos. Digital media will be the influence along with the very citizen rights I will have to pursue my gaming profession. I will follow online policy rights like respecting any use of copyrights like using other people gaming content to make commentary tips, music and even the use fan art while I be careful of what ways I can stream freely. Streaming and social media platforms often update their policy rules, so I have to be updated with the new policy notices for my streaming experience as well as the audience that would be watching and listening in. Following policies and understanding digital citizenship will help create a well safe online streaming environment while maintaining a long-term audience.

Looking towards the future, I would anticipate my career progressing in a couple ways as digital media today evolves. Technology has been tweaked in creative ways for content in my profession like Augmented reality or if I wanna dive into gaming with virtual reality to help my audience feel immersed in what they watch. Social media will play a huge part because as more content comes around that also means a new social algorithm that will help me continue to grow as the platform recommend the content people are searching for. Streaming tools and platform software like Twitch, Kick and YouTube will be updated to help showcase elements for my profession like emotes, video effect preset for ease of use and possible engagement tips. The number of elements that I can switch at anytime because of technology and digital media are changing will be the key element with web casting.

The skills and abilities I would have to adapt to be creative are technical awareness, creativity and interpersonal strategies. Digital literacy will be the key for my profession due to the fact that I will need to navigate how to use new streaming tools, understanding new implemented policies, understanding social metrics and fixing and technical problems I might face during making content. Communication is a skill that I need to adapt to when it comes to building an audience because an interactive community can survive long term due to engagement with others online that support my content. Creativity plays a huge part as well because I might not be the only one that does gaming content, so I would have to transform that content into something that will keep people engaged and interactive. Digital literacy will help with understanding partner opportunities like sponsorships and monetization so that can help my profession be more profitable long term. Digital literacy connection with my career goals will align so well together. The very ability to understand more about the digital world to create content will greatly help connect with my online audience.
