Picture A represents Rihanna Robin Fenty Makeup Beauty Line Ad

This type of advertisement is based on attractiveness. As you can see, there are many different women, from different ethnicities and cultures. This ad focuses more on the initial beauty, but not the makeup itself. Makeup is a collection of shades and is arranged to enhance one’s natural beauty. This ad focuses more on the persuasive side of advertisement. It is depicting that there are multiple shades of the Fenty beauty line and urges the public to indulge in the product. This ad does not tell us how smoothly the foundation is applied to skin, and if the foundations have been FDA approved and tested.

Picture B represents a Forever 21 Clothing Ad.

This type of advertisement is based on the perception of not being a credible source ad. Many young adults would recognize this name brand store and it famous logo. But for an older audience, some would not. As you can see, there are four young adults modeling for this ad. The ideal of this ad is to show forth fashion and make it marketable to buyers. But the underlying question would be are the clothes that the young adults are wearing in the ad part of the ” Forever 21″ fashion line ? There are no tags, labels or any sorts that assures the buyers that these fashion clothes are available at the local stores.

Picture C represents a Car Sale Postcard Ad

This type of advertisement is based on the perception of being a credible source ad. When you look at this ad, the car dealership has taken ownership of actually applying financial estimates, duration of car sale, and the dealership disclosures to the public. The ad postcard is very intriguing to the consumers. There is information in the description below on the postcard, if buyers have any questions or concerns. Now I know most people would actually go to the dealership and take to a sales rep and do their own research. But this ad is deems to be a reliable source.

Advertisement Captures the Essence of Different Levels

This picture represents all three advertisements that I selected and discussed. My advertisement pictures depicted credible source, non-credible source and attractiveness. Each picture is a representation to make consumers aware of what ” marketing” sources implement within the marketing business. Each advertisement was ” created” to employ a mission of being seen, aroused, amused, persuaded or gravitated by the public.
