Biomedical Science

  • This field of study combines biology and medicine in order to focus on the health of both humans and animals. As a biomedical science major, you’ll study biochemical and physiological functions, anatomical and histological structures, epidemiology, and pharmacology. The goal is to maintain and promote health in humans and in animals with knowledge in nutrition, diseases, and immunology.
  • Many students choose to pursue additional education in professional or graduate school after obtaining a Bachelors in Science degree. Programs and careers such as, but not limited to, biochemists, biologists, physicians, zoologists, professors, and researchers.
