I have currently partcipated in a few events across campus dealing with cultural elements. One of the first was a writing analysis meeting over zoom during the literature festival. We analyzed pieces of art and literature from different nationalities and cultures. We then provided feedback by presenting our own reflections of those pieces in the form of literature such as poems.

A second event I participated in was an event that mixed topics on cultural appropriation and appreciation in relation to the Halloween holiday. In this event we participated in watching and presenting our own opinions on the subject with the oversight and presentation of a guest lecturer. This discussion went into how to recognize cultural appropriation and appreciation in our own lives and how to have a healthier relationship with other cultures as well as how to express ours to another person in a healthy manner.
