End of the Semester Reflection

 1.  Study habits

     *   How much time do you spend studying for each class now vs. at the beginning of the semester? In the beginning I did not have good study habits. I thought studying twice a week and doing my homework would get me by. i quickly found out that, that doesn’t work for me. Now I study everyday for at least an hour just to get some better retention times.

     *   How have your study habits changes? My study habits have changed drastically. I feel like I’ve became an average student to a full time student.

     *   What specific study techniques do you think work best for you?  How do these vary from class to class? The best techniques I’ve inhabited is to do flash cards for the thing I need to remember and get background knowledge on things that I need to learn.

  2.  Transition to college

     *   What did you expect college would be like 14 weeks ago? 14 weeks ago I expected college to change me for the better. I feel like yes, Ive changed for the better, but I’ve also learned what stress is.

     *   What is a resource or activity you have found helpful this semester? A resource that I’ve found helpful this year is my peers. They have helped me understand things and changed my outlook on many things.

     *   What is a resource or activity you have found unhelpful this semester? A resource I’ve felt unhelpful is social media, it’s addictive when you’re trying to get assignments done.

     *   What is something you wish you knew 14 weeks ago? Something I wish I knew 14 weeks ago is to stay on top of every thing and not to procrastinate.

     *   Name something you have learned this semester that will assist you next semester. Something I’ve learned this semester is to use my agenda religiously. It has been my saving grace.
