I started helping out with a qualitative study with a professor because a native Spanish speaker was needed to help contact native-speaking Spanish participants. As the project continued, I was able to be more involved and had the opportunity to learn how to go through and code the transcripts.

For my Applied-Practicum Experience, I have had the opportunity to create survey’s to assess various programs given at a local park. I learned how to create survey questions that have been proven to be useful in assessing the effectiveness of the programs and how order the questions in a way that makes sense.
