I&#8217;m Kirk, a senior at Old Dominion University, and I&#8217;m on track to graduate with my Bachelor&#8217;s degree in cybersecurity in Spring of 2026. ODU lists three main learning outcomes for students involved in the cybersecurity degree path: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left has-medium-font-size\">1) Students will be able to manipulate and protect computer systems, networks, and online data from attack and compromise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">2) Students will be able to apply troubleshooting practices and identify potential security lapses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3) Students will be able to examine and collect forensic evidence for maintenance of network security. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Throughout my time at ODU, I&#8217;ve learned a lot regarding cybersecurity; this ePortfolio will showcase some of the assignments and projects I&#8217;ve completed over the years and explain how they tie into these three learning outcomes.
