Professional Writing: cyber

My research project is on my major in cybersecurity. I am a student at ODU who is majoring in Cybersecurity. I have lived in Chesapeake my whole life and I commute to ODU everyday. ODU has a great cyber program with great help, and leadership shown around campus everyday. I think ODU is best for me due to the fact that it is close to my house and I like my major and I want to get up and come to school everyday to come learn something new. In this essay, I will be using the ODU library for a source for this project. This research project will be on the job as a cyber major. In this book it asks where I see myself in the cyber world past hacking. Hacking is big for cyber security jobs. Showing off your ability to hack and code will make you stand out. To the job you applied for with these skills you will most likely get the job over somebody who doesn’t have these skills due to the fact that it’s a big need.

Showing what Customer Success Skills are Needed. The wheel of colors all have a certain meaning in this cyber world. Red means there is a threat detection, usually a detection team or an analysis deal with this one. Orange is vulnerable such as a patch management team and testing team. Yellow, is the Regulations of the wheel with certain policy making sure it meets the legal rules. Green is the training of the wheel showing growth and learning. Training security Blue is known as the cyber Defense such as security focusing on the systems and networks to stay up and normally have firewalls. Purple is the threat and analysis team. This color gathers, analyzing, sharing the possible threats towards the company.
White is the risk management part of a company to make sure to cover the risk on framework, planning to meet business goals. Black is the attack testing group to test and make the defenses upgrades. Simulating attacks to point out the weaknesses before the hackers or attackers do.

Second, Cybersecurity analysts play a big role within any company or organization. That depends on systems , and protecting private information for any cyber attack or threat. The main point of this job is to check and analyze data and respond to the company’s IT.
The focus is to make sure that all data is safe and secure and not going to be broken into from any data breaches or cyber attacks. As an analyst you need to stay on track or up to date with the constantly changing threats and ways to stop them. Trying not to have a flaw in the system is hard due to all the changes to protect from attacks or data breaches.

Third off, Adams shows the Job many opportunities in this field are very big due to the increase in cybersecurity. All companies need a cyber security team to make sure all data is safe. Due to the increase in cyber attacks and breaches. Cyber security analysts play a big role in any business on all companies by being their safeguard. And also, making sure they don’t miss anything and avoid company policies and or penalties. Cybersecurity is in a need so they can protect systems safely, From malware, and hackers trying to breach into a system with sensitive or personal data from companies. Companies that get breached can have a big down time and have big financial losses within the company.

Next, The skills and qualifications to be a cyber security analyst, You will need to be on the stronger side in IT, including at least a bachelor’s degree in IT or computer science, or any other related field. Most employers also will look for certifications in the cyber world. Certifications show the employer the knowledge and the commitment to cybersecurity qualifications. Another way to get the job is to have a good understanding of networking , running systems , and know how to use all the work tools. You also need to be able to find patterns in networking traffic, that might be an attack or data breach.
Scripting is also another great trait to have using python. Scripting is big in the cyber world it is a great trait to have due to the fact that it is a little difficult and time consuming.

In summary, The role of a cyber security analyst is to be safeguard for the company or organization they are working for. And keep digital data safe from attacks or data breaches. This job requires technical skills and having a different outlook and view for each way to protect and make new ways to prevent attacks and breaches on their data. And needs to be able to always be ready and identify threats and have good problem solving skills. Big careers in being cybersecurity analysts usually work with a big impact on a companies business to keep data and systems up to date and not have them breached or hacked.
