Describe three ways that computers have made the world safer and less safe.

The world today revolves around computers, Technology effects everything we do and is in every aspect of life in the 21st century today. Computers today are linked to transportation, socialization, productivity, education, etc. There are many advantages to computers and they have helped us in lots of ways but they also have their disadvantages.

For one, computers have advanced communication and heavily increased speed for communication times as far as text messages , calls, email, etc. Technology is also beneficial for education, relationships, work, and business. Business wise I think technology is an extremally beneficial factor. Its beneficial in the ways of that it allows for people to complete work faster and for departments such as first responders, police, and military it allows them to respond quicker to emergencies and communicate with victims more efficiently. For the military it has made them stronger and allowed us to create more advanced and more accurate weapons for battle.

Another way that computers have advanced our world for the better is within the education system. Computers, tablets, etc. have allowed us to complete assignments quicker and given us access to eBooks, educational websites, and videos. The internet now also allows us to educate ourselves on vital information outside of the education system. Technology nowadays allows for online courses for college students who may not be able to attend in person for various reasons. Lastly, the internet spreads news faster and makes news available worldwide so that everyone can be update on the latest topics and events.

While the internet and technology has given us so much it also has it downsides. The internet makes us more vulnerable to attacks and to have our personal information stolen and compromised. Everything we do online can be made public and may be also be recorded. Hackers and scammers are a huge part of the internet and cause one of the biggest risks. Overall even with its issues the internet has made the world and easier and more advanced place.
