When I was writing essay 3 it was actually more challenging then writing the others. I had to explain my methods from different viewpoints which made me think I wasn’t writing correctly. My topic was about overcoming hate, and sometimes people will have different opinions on how to overcome it. So, when I was writing the paper, I wasn’t sure about how to explain my different points. First, I had to pick three methods that stood out to me the most, that part was easy. My biggest challenge was the next step, which is trying to explain the best way of how the method works to overcome hate. Since it is such a broad topic it was difficult for me to come to one reasoning of why you should use a method to overcome hate. Although, I did not agree with all the methods I picked, it was easier to write about why I disagreed with it more. Another challenge I had was making sure all my commas were placed in the right places because, that is what I struggle with the most. I always think to myself that the sentence may be too long then I place a comma anywhere. I’ve learned from that mistake, so I believe I am getting a little better at placing them in the correct places. I don’t struggle as much with run-ons because I learned how to make a good sentence, and how to put commas in the right places. Even if it is a small sentence I can still make it complete without making it a run-on. The essay was easier since I knew how to organize my paper, and the topic was something i’m interested in. Usually if I don’t enjoy what I’m writing about it ends up being a horrible paper. I feel as if I did better than my other essays because, I knew a little more about how to construct my paper.
